Wireless Systems
Firewatch have installed both hard wire and wireless fire alarms over the last twelve years for most types of premises, our installation team are highly competent installing both types of systems.

Hard wire systems are the most common, however over the last few years more and more of our clients opt for the wireless option; There are several advantages to installing wireless fire alarm systems - the main one being that because there are no wires - the installation is less disruptive to your existing décor and business operations.

EMS wireless fire sensors are based on industry standard devices. They have no visible aerials and are of low profile aesthetically pleasing design. We will survey your requirements and then recommend the most suitable cost effective solution.

The 5000 Firepoint and FireCell controllers are the brains of the wireless system and meet all the requirements of BS5839 part 4 and EN54/2

SYSTEM PLAN
These controllers are suitable for installation in almost any type of building, easily matching and in many cases exceeding the performance of wired systems without all the disruption associated with running wires at installation.

Each controller can have 252 radio devices connected and have a simple menu driven user interface with zoned LEDs, available in 4, 12, 24 and 96 zone versions .All controllers can be networked either by radio or hard wired.

The EMS 5000 Firepoint systems are fully monitored and field devices are powered with alkaline battery packs typically giving 5 years power.

Wireless detectors, sounders or call points can be pre-programmed, quicker installation.
There is no need to close part of the building during installation of a wireless system, as our engineers will work around usage.
EMS has an industry-leading full 5-year warranty on all of its products (excludes batteries).
Wireless fire alarms saves our clients labour and re decoration costs.
Easily upgradable

If there is an existing wired system and extra detection is needed i.e. a Hotel that does not have detection and sounders in the bedrooms, a wireless fire alarm system can be installed alongside. The wireless system would be linked to the existing system to make the Hotel compliant to L2 BS5839. If either panel then goes to ‘Fire’ the Sounders will activate across both systems.
