An Introduction to Firewatch
Firewatch offer the full range of fire protection services including the design, installation and maintenance for all types of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and offer full fire training courses for businesses. Ideally based to serve the South West, Firewatch extinguisher technicians and fire alarm engineers are located throughout the region to give comprehensive cover and a quick response. All are regularly audited both internally and externally to ensure the highest standards of technical ability are maintained and contracted clients have the comfort of 24/7 cover; you will always speak to a member of staff and not an automated service.
History
Firewatch founded with two employees in 1998, originally just servicing and supplying fire equipment. The company has now grown remarkably and was the first fire protection company in Great Britain to gain approval for both of the BAFE schemes SP101 / ST104 for fire extinguisher maintenance and the SP203 for fire alarms.
A unique family owned business established by CEO Martin Smith on the traditional values of customer service, value for money and quality of product, with over 2,500 customers throughout the South West region, ranging from large blue chip corporations to small local businesses all receiving the same standard of service.
The supply and maintenance of fire extinguishers and fire alarms have always been the core business, but the company has developed the skills and expertise to offer many other fire protection services and products over the years.
The Firewatch Team
The Firewatch team always have their clients’ best interests at the forefront of their priorities and have taken every step to ensure they offer as much reassurance as possible.
All of the Firewatch field staff are uniformed, carry identification and also have CSCS Health and Safety ID cards. The service personnel are also CRB checked; given that some of the regions top educational facilities are clients, Firewatch guarantee clients’ peace of mind.
The engineers and technicians are also equipped with camera phones to record, if required, site issues and all company vans have tracker units, and therefore in an emergency can direct the closest member of staff to you.
